All positions for the August 2024 academic year have been filled. However, we are accepting applications for future positions, as we anticipate our faculty will grow.

Arcadia Christian Academy offers competitive pay with 12-18 hour work weeks, Fall break, Spring break, Summer break, and Christmas break.  Lead teachers earn $35-$45/hr depending on grade level. 

Teachers also receive free tuition for their Pre-K child and free on-campus daycare for any child not yet eligible for Pre-K!

Educator job description 
 

• Maintaining an intimate relationship with Christ through devotion, prayer and Christian community 

• Agreeing with and adhering to our statement of faith and mission 

• Supervising and taking reasonable, precautionary, safety measurements to protect children  

• Reinforcing expectations, code of conduct and rules of behavior for students in the classroom 

• Being reliable and committed to punctuality 

• Demonstrating discretion and integrity; maturity in appearance, demeanor, conversations and behavior 

• Preparing lessons, units and projects to complete learning objectives, given the content 

• Delivering content in a clear and engaging manner 

• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the learning styles and needs of students 

• Encouraging students to explore learning opportunities and develop character growth 

• Pointing students towards the image of Christ and exemplifying Christ-likeness 

• Humbly accepting constructive criticism or correction 

• Creating (with guidance and inspiration) some subject-related quizzes and worksheets 

• Working with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention 

• Attending all mandated teacher collaborations and staff meetings 

• Facilitating parent-teacher meetings when necessary 

• Maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and supervisors 

• Creating a safe, respectful, and positive classroom environment
